A beautiful day to be on the water. When we cast off at 9:45 it was 72 with a clioudless sky an an easterly breeze anout 10 kts. we sailed to Pass a Grille and downwind out that channel, then turned south and, once clear of the shosls off Bunces Pass, it was a straight shot inside Egmont Key and across the bay to rejoin the Intracoastal at Terra Ceia. the last part was motorsailing because the wind became contrary and light. We reached Cortez about 4, relaxed a while before cocktails aboard and then dinner ashore at the Seafood Shack where we are docked. Excellent dinner.
The only adventure of the day was in the middle of Tampa Bay when the engine quit. There was air in the fuel line so I bled the fuel lines and switched to another fuel tank. Started right up and ran fine the rest of the way but I'm at a loss for the reason it wasn't getting fuel.
